PROFESSOR PHILIPPE NOIREZ
- Professor of Université Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France
Professor Philippe Noirez with a permanent position at Reims Champagne-Ardenne University, Reims, France, Associate Professor at UQAM, Montréal, Canada, and Honorary Professor at University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, his research interests are focused on understanding the physiological processes of performance and the metabolic deregulations that occur during aging, particularly in muscle and adipose tissue.
He specialised in researching and teaching the performance constraints of organisms, tissues, and cells, with a particular focus on training and nutrition strategies. Optimising performance, from cells to humans, can lead to optimal health and combat disabling conditions, such as hemochromatosis, as well as acquired diseases, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.
The main causes of health deregulation are sedentary lifestyles, exposure to environmental pollutants, and aging. Understanding these conditions, which are compatible with or necessary for good health, should enable us to contribute to longevity.
