Yu-Kai Chang is Chair Professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at National Taiwan Normal University, where he directs the Physical Activity and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory.

He serves as Vice-President of both the International Society of Sport Psychology and the Asian-South Pacific Association of Sport Psychology. His research focuses on exercise and sport psychology, particularly applying cognitive neuroscience approaches to physical activity, mental health, and mindfulness.

Since 2021, he has been recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists. He has received young scholar awards from ISSP, North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, and the Chinese Society of Sport Psychology.

In 2021, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also serves as Co-Editor of the SSCI-indexed journal International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology.
